Vajra's Teaching
« on: August 13, 2008, 04:54:27 PM »

I took Vajra's class of massage and healing at least 8 or so years ago.  After all that time, she stands out most distinctly as the best teacher I've had.  I was very nervous at the time, and anxious about starting a new career.  Furthermore, it was challenging for me because I have a learning disability.

Not only was Vajra truly kind, (and not in that phony sort of way), but she went out of her way to make me and every other member of that class feel warm, safe, comfortable, and of the right frame of mind, which made it wonderful to learn.

I can't say enough about her teaching skills.  But it was so much more than that alone.  This woman radiates what she talks about--it's not just empty words.  Because of her, I am considering the long drive to San Anselmo from the city because once you find a gem, there is no other.  I guess there's a reason why it's called "Diamond" Light.  She is that for certain!
