I am the Volunteer Massage Ambassador for the Integrative Healer’s Action Network(IHAN).  Integrative Healers Action Network (IHAN) is a 501(c)(3) disaster response organization that offers trauma-informed integrative health care for first responders and underserved communities impacted by disasters.

I wish to connect with your student body who I believe would be excited to volunteer with IHAN - I have learned so much about trauma informed care and the power of integrative health care from my time volunteering with IHAN. It has been one of the most powerful and important parts of my career as a massage therapist.

We offer clinics throughout the year for first responders and communities impacted by disaster, and increase our clinics directly in response to active disasters. As fire season is approaching, it is important to complete our volunteer intake process before we are in the midst of a disaster so that you are able to respond when volunteers are needed.

Beautiful, Earthlite Spirit massage table package for sale. I have several Earthlites, and this barely used 32" table has just been taking up storage space.  The table comes with a flexrest headrest, professional carry case, and a gorgeous hunter green color. The picture is just for reference, not the actual table.  The top is made with memory foam so your clients will be extremely comfortable even without an additional pad on top of the table.  It's 32" and has full reiki endplates (you can sit at either end and have your knees underneath the table, there is no cross bar in your way!).  Easy to fold up and transport, it's one of Earthlite's best portable tables. I have a brand new round bolster, sheets and other supplies too, if interested.

Almonte Spa is currently seeking massage therapists to join our team.  Almonte Spa is beautifully situated off the beaten path in Mill Valley. Exemplary customer service with an emphasis on retaining client relations is paramount.

As a massage therapist at Almonte Spa, you will be responsible for treating our clients through massage while maintaining a safe and relaxing experience. You should be good at perceiving our client’s wishes and needs through spoken language, body language and other cues and modifying their treatments accordingly. Additionally we provide Hot Tubs and Saunas, so non-sensitivity to chlorine or scents is essential. Massage therapists report to the Spa Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide 60, 75 and 90 minute massages to clients by appointment
Be able to perform 4-5 massages per shift
Evaluate clients to determine painful or stressed areas of the body
Suggest future massage appointments and regime to clients
Listen to clients during appointments and adjust technique as they desire
Saturday and/or Sunday availability is a must

Skills and Qualifications:

Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Time management abilities and adherence to schedule
Follow strict safety protocols
Ability to provide Swedish and Deep Tissue massage (other modalities are a plus)
Demonstrated customer service skills
Good energy and positive vibes are key
