A New World
« on: September 07, 2008, 10:18:54 AM »

I often remind myself that all of the cells in our intestines are completely replaced every 6 weeks, those of our bones every three months. Every year 98% of all of our cells of our bodies are new. Completely new - new molecules, new atoms.
So what is it that maintains "us"? Perhaps this sense of continuity is coming from our mind and would could grow quite dramatically if we stayed aware of the changes.

Guides can change our lives, if we let them, and we are never the same again. I suspect that the way we "let them" is by being aware of the sacredness of us, of the moment, of the new us that is in every moment.
And I imagine that thinking of each new adventure as a mythic journey helps us (me) to not miss the life-changes.
