Massage Therapist Wanted for Daily Sessions in Greenbrae
About your client:
She is an 82 year old woman
She is mentally 'all there'
She has lung cancer
She is currently in a rehab facility in Greenbrae (near Marin General) for PT to help her build strength in her legs - she fell in April and broke 10 ribs - after weeks in bed recovering, her legs have lost all strength. She will be going home to Sausalito and will continue daily massages there as well.
She is feisty, she's intelligent and loves sitting outside (which is likely where she will want her massage done). She speaks many languages (including German & Spanish).
She needs daily 30 minute sessions of light limb massage - her skin is like tissue paper and she cannot handle deep work, just soft touch massage to keep her circulation moving and help reduce swelling in her hands and feet.
Looking for someone who has experience working with elderly clients &/or hospice care - low keyed and engaging.
