Massage Ergonomics Class at Diamond Light this Fall!!
« on: July 07, 2009, 09:18:47 AM »

We are thrilled to have Corinna Kavanagh, a long time Bay Area Massage Instructor, teaching a class in body mechanics for massage therapists. If you find yourself tired or hurting  after giving a massage, if you notice strain in your wrists, arms or back, or if you simply want to be sure to avoid injury or burnout in the future, this class is for you.

Proper posture and good body mechanics are essential to maintaining energy and muscle integrity while giving massage. In this class you will learn techniques that will not only improve your posture during massage, but enable you to work more effortlessly, maintain stamina, prevent carpal tunnel and massage related injury and perform more massage and still feel refreshed and relaxed. A great class for beginning CMT's as well as massage veterans.

Class will be Tuesday evenings, December 1 & 8, 2009 and tuition is $110. Click
