Seeking Certified Massage Therapist- Independent Contractor position.
Paolo Flores Chico, L.Ac. runs a small acupuncturist office in Oakland, CA called Pink Light Healing & Beauty and is hiring a Massage Therapist for his office.
The position would be for Sunday evenings and Tuesday mornings. The ideal person would have at least 2+ years massage experience, familiarity working with the LGBTIQ+ community and have a current CMT certification. The 2 year requirement might be waived if you have other experience working with clients in related fields.He is looking for someone who is responsible, intuitive, self-motivated, personable, organized, and most of all excited about the benefits of massage and healing work!
It would be exciting to find someone who has the technical skills, client experience, and also has a deep understanding of how/why physical pain can show up in our bodies. Modalities required are Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
Additional modalities preferred or desired - lymphatic drainage or abdominal massage.
