2014 will be the last year to become certified as a Massage Therapist in California WITHOUT having to pass a competency exam.
Applicants for certification who apply PRIOR to the end of 2014 will be able to keep their certification without taking the exam.
If you have been wanting to complete your massage therapist certification in California, be sure to do that prior to the end of 2014 if you don't want to have to take the exam.
