Heidi Schmidt is a second year medical student at UCSF.
She is starting a women's support group at one of the homeless shelters in the city (MSC-South at 5th and Bryant), and is interested in incorporating a mindfulness/relaxation component in the group.
She is looking for a massage student or massage therapist who would be interested in helping them teach self massage techniques to the women in the shelter
This sounds like a wonderfully useful and rewarding opportunity to share the benefits of massage with people who really need it.
